Paul Wood

Paul is the bands co-ordinator and if you've never heard of him you've probably seen him! Paul wrote his own profile;

Played with Spen Valley Brass (non-contesting) from 1987-2005 on rep and progressed to 2nd man down- due to everyone else leaving. Played with a couple of marching bands, Diggle, and short spells with Gawthorpe Victoria and Lockwood until moving onto Euph a few years ago after blowing the cornet straight and giving myself a hernia.

Joined Grange Moor in July 2002, just in time to win lots of contests! Promoted to Solo Euph last year because there was no one else left for the job, and looking forward with eyes shut and fingers a-bluffing to the 1st Section.

Best banding moment: My dad helping out the band after 25 years in hibernation.

Other interests: Pool, Beer, Football, French Post-Rennaissance Tapestries... and also a fan of hiding other peoples belongings and putting them where they cant be reached!
